October begins and temps are cooling off a little. The A/C no longer runs 24/7 but rather shuts off occasionally through the nights...sometimes. But still warm enough days for the beach which we do about two or three times a month.

My son Travis & his wife Rachel did a four day Bike Hike. Took the train from Penn State area to Pittsburgh. Started the bike trail from the point in Pittsburgh and biked for 4 days to Cumberland MD all on the trail. I was able to watch their progress via the Endomondo app which I was able to import to google maps along with photos he provided along the way. The above map is interactive (i.e. you can zoom, pan, even open the photos)

Sun Oct 27, I got dressed up for church....or so I thought. Decided to try a Southern Baptist Church ...for the music. Everyone there was dressed to the nines.... except me. The music was great!
