2019 August found a lot going on for us this year, beginning with a vacation, followed by a break down and then resumed  vacation. Upon returning home to Titusville, it was not long thereafter before we were running off again getting out of the way of Hurricane Dorian. 

The initial goal was for Kathy & I to join our good friends Pam & John at John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park in Key Largo on Aug 5th.  

Aug 13, Tue.    As previously mentioned, we had to deal with a breakdown...sort of.  Upon arrival at John Pennekamp, as is typical, Kathy gets behind the wheel to do the parking, while I get outside to do the directing. THAT is when I walked to the rear of the rig and heard the engine making a horrible screeching sound.  That also is when I knew to find a place for repair and head straight there upon leaving this park. The original plan was for the two couples to depart here and head further South to Lazy Lakes near Key West. John and Pam did just that however on Aug 13 Kathy & I traveled back North to a CAT Service Center in Ft Lauderdale. (ugh). Diagnosis on Tuesday afternoon: A/C compressor needs replaced. Will not be ready until tomorrow. Not our first Rodeo being broke down.... time to get a room.
