A Little Alexa Magic for the Eales & Jellison Crew
──────────────────
Hello Eales/Jellison relatives!
As I travel around visiting everyone this holiday season, I’ve been handing out some of my spare Amazon gear like Santa’s tech-elf. So far:
- Valerie Landers now has an Echo Show
- Terry Mara now has an Echo Show
That means both of them can instantly video-call anyone who has the Alexa app on their phone (as long as your phone number is in their contacts). Call them and say hi anytime!
While staying with Terri, she very quickly mastered the most important command of the season:
“Alexa, play Christmas music.”
Because I have an embarrassing number of Echo Dots, I set up two more on her account – one at each end of the house, with the main Echo Show in the middle. Now she just says:
“Alexa, play Christmas music everywhere”
…and the whole house is instantly filled with holiday cheer! 🎶
One of my favorite Echo Show tricks (especially this time of year) is turning it into a digital photo frame. Just say:
“Alexa, show photo frame”
and it starts a beautiful slideshow.
To make that even more special, I’ve spent countless hours organizing a huge collection of family photos for Mom’s enjoyment – and now I want to share it with all of you.
I’ve created a shared Amazon Photos group that contains 223 pictures of the Eales & Jellison family.
Almost every single person in every single photo is labeled (usually with birth year too) because Mom sometimes needs a reminder of who’s who. If you’re part of this family, you’ll love it!
Anyone with an Amazon account (or create one for free) can join the group and get full access – and even add your own photos if you’d like.

Wishing you all a warm, music-filled, photo-memory-rich Christmas!
