It has a two fold purpose.
First it supports the intention of the site I am developing at www.mylovedones.place which serves to show others the how-to of setting up an Echo Show in the residence of their loved ones home or like my mom, in an assisted living home, allowing the means for video conferencing with them and also providing entertainment when not doing video calls. From the above home page the LIVE CAM can be found on the EXAMPLES page, which not only includes the Live view, but also the calendar of the events and their run times throughout the day as well as a complete listing of all the YouTube LIVE CAMS at the bottom of the page.
Second, although the home page of the site lists numerous things for which the Echo Show can be used, I have chosen my LIVE CAM view to be that of an ECHO SHOW that is displaying an endless selection of LIVE CAMS. Yes, a LIVE CAM of LIVE CAMS. This List Of Live Cams is being enlarged daily and the same choices being played are also being added to my mothers Echo Show in her assisted living home.
