I spend a lot of time using Amazon Photos to organize, label, and share my photos and albums. Once I place a photo in an album, the album becomes shareable with others via a provided link. No special app is needed—it's simply a website.
But wait, there's more!
If you choose to **join** my shared album through the link, you'll be able to comment on or even contribute more photos to the album as well as be alerted to other peoples comments and contributions.
But wait, there's more!
If you own an Amazon Echo Show (a digital picture frame and video machine), you can display selected albums as slideshows. This is how I display photos on my mom's Echo Show in her Assisted Living Home. Check Out here.
But wait, there's more!
To date, I've created many albums, typically centered around family members, and grouped them into two main categories:
- Eales/Jellisons(Mom’s side of the family)
- Pikes/Kountz (Dad’s side of the family)
But wait, there's more!
Things have snowballed into creating an album for each particular relative. Now, when I add a photo to Amazon Photos, I share it with one of the two main groups plus the individual album of those featured in the photo. This means I now have dozens of albums.
But wait, there's more!
I've also made all these albums available on my individual family web pages. You can access them, and if you'd like, you can join as well. Check them out to see if you're included:

Phone Photo Management Tips
Amazon Photos App
Snapping Pictures Of Photos using your phone can so easily be uploaded to your Amazon Photos Account. In fact the app can do it automatically as fast as you snap a photo it can go to your Amazon account. Just set the app to auto upload. (And then you can easily share them to others .... like me! ...Please!)
After uploaded into your account, add comments to any individual photo to tell about the picture, (names of individuals in the photo, location where photo was taken, the date of the photo taken)
Photo Myne App
I've come across a great app for taking pictures of photos using my phone. The app can capture an entire page of photos in an album with one click. It then rotates and crops the photos, scans and cleans them up, and adds them to an unnamed album where they can be stored until you are ready to do something with them. Once they are in an album, you can save them to your phone after which the Amazon Photos app will kick in and store them in your Amazon account.
