I spend a lot of time using Amazon Photos to organize, label, and share my photos and albums. Once I place a photo in an album, the album becomes shareable with others via a provided link. No special app is needed—it's simply a website.
Mission: Curate photos to display on Mom's 15' Echo Show in her Lakeview Assisted Living Home.
By "Curate" I mean crop it for the best fit on her display ( it hates portrait mode) and Label each person (in as large a type as possible) for her to read who is who as her memory declines with age.
So after 5 hours of sleep I awoke at 12:30 am; unplugged the crock pot of chili which had been going for the past 8 hours; and tackled a single photo of the Bergman's. Finished at 3:30 am.
Understand the goal is to get a curated photo into ONE single Amazon Album that is showing on Mom's display (Eales/Jellisons). However, anytime I label a person in a photo... I ALSO copy it to an album specifically for THAT person. And Cecelia and Earl had SEVEN KIDS!!! That is NINE Albums Plus the Eales/Jellisons.
Most of these Bergman Albums did not exist. They do now. Any of which are now viewable, join-able from my Eales/Jellisons web page. You will see I even had to create a Spreadsheet to manage all I did. (It's a subset of the main one I keep) So it all started with this one photo.
Which three hours later I shared as the following... to Mom's display album Eales/Jellisons...and also..
1917–1998 Earl Nance Bergman
1918-2011 Cecelia M Jellison
1938-2013 Richard Earl Bergman
1940-1977 Mary Lee Bergman
1951 Thomas W Bergman (Bill)
I had to do some digging and turned to familysearch.org Note I am still missing the middle names for Sue and Ron
