Time For A Change:
In 2014, my wife and I made a bold decision: we sold our home, gave away nearly everything, and embraced a full-time RV lifestyle. For the first two years, we adventured across the country, traveling to the West Coast and back. Eventually, we settled in Titusville, Florida, but our wanderlust didn’t fade. We began volunteering at state parks, immersing ourselves in a lifestyle that constantly brought new experiences—new places to explore and new people to meet.
In 2023, I returned to Ohio and settled in a mobile home park, thinking it might be a chance to reconnect with old friends and put down roots. But after nearly two years, I’ve realized this isn’t the life for me. The friendships I hoped to rekindle have mostly fizzled out, and, with few exceptions, many of those old connections turned out to be disappointing. The one meaningful friendship I did renew ended tragically with her passing.
It’s clear now that it’s time for a change. I’ve put the mobile home up for sale, and I am preparing to hit the road again as full-time RVer. My plan is to spend the winter in Florida, but my biggest goal is to head back out west. Next summer, I'm Utah-bound for sure.
