Visited to restock her Juices. Also another 3 pack of Cracker Jacks and a few more Peanut Butter No Bakes. Also some Pennsylvania Dutch Peach Cake I made. On my way there I stopped at Sparkle in E. Palestine at 9 am when her call came through to me. She was laying in bed covered and sound asleep. I was concerned she missed breakfast. When I arrived she was dressed in her wheel chair. She "said" she had breakfast.
I subsequently learned mom had covid so they had her confined to her room and were bringing her meals to her.

8 AM: I called Lakeview to see if mom was still positive for COVID. She last tested negative and they will test her again today. So I am going to make my "Sparkle, Lakeview, 19th Hole" day this morning.
After an hour of YouTube shows, we went on the patio for awhile.

7:00 pm - From here at my home in Lisbon Oh, I programmed mom's TV in her Assisted Living Home to switch to the Steelers game and then using our Echo Show's I dropped in on her. Then we watched the Steelers game together.
7:30 pm - A staff lady came in and provided mom with her nightly medicine. A few minutes later a man came in to check on her and mom proclaimed he was her best friend!
8:00 pm - Mom's phone rang and she wheeled herself over and picked up the phone, I heard her say "Hello", then abruptly say "I'm Watching The Game!" ... and hung up. She fussed around at the table for a couple minutes then returned to the game and I asked her "Who was on the phone?"
"I don't Remember!" she replied.
I have no idea upon who she hung up!

Mom talks with her sister, Bonnie, almost daily, and during one of their calls, she mentioned that her clock had fallen and broken. At first, I had no idea what she was talking about. It was then that Bonnie reached out to explain the story behind the clock.

It turns out Bonnie had made two identical clocks—one for Mom and one for herself. Mom's clock originally hung in her bathroom at home and was later transferred to her bathroom in the assisted living home. That’s probably why I never saw it or knew about it.

Bonnie kindly offered to send me her clock to replace Mom's. I thought it was a wonderful gesture, and that became the first order of business during my Friday visit. Only this time I chose to locate in a more prominent area in Mom's main room.

I also performed my ritual restocking of the fridge... with Juice, Cracker Jacks and goodies. (...and I even cracked open all the bottles so mom would not struggle with that.)
